Hamels just pitched a no-hitter. Not exactly trash.

People don't realize that more then a few times Phillies score runs and Hamels poor pitching allowed other teams to get right back in or win the game..

I don't think he's the ace everyone clamoring for..
I seen games he pitched where he got lit up and the team didnt recover.

Speaking of clean-up, it's now being reported on ESPN.com that Papelbon is being traded to Washington for a AA pitcher, Nick Pivetta, a 22-year-old who has spent most of this season in the class-A Carolina League.
