This year's Phillies are fun to watch. They suck, but not like the last
2 seasons when being down by a run or 2 in any inning meant game over.

They can't pitch or field very well, but they hit and run around the
bases and the only player I hate seeing at the plate is Asche.

I have been using the local radio feed audio option on MLB.com during
this homestand. Maybe listening to Franzke rather than TMac makes the
game more fun, also.

Go Phillies!!!

Agree! Pretty rough one last night, though.

Asche's going to warm up. I think/hope.

It doesn't seem to be working for me this year. I think because
I'm not using NextDef. Not sure if I can change that on the Mac
this year. Anyone know? I spent some time looking at the
online docs last night to no avail.

I got the MLB.tv for the whole season this year. Good times.
(When it works right -- I also have Roku. Funny how Netflix
almost never has a problem but MLB has glitches and re-buffers
every game.)

I like Jamie Moyer, but I do miss Franzke. Of course when I had
to switch to audio for a while last night, it was JJ's turn.

I hope so, too.

I watch MLB on my TV thru Roku and the audio feed option is listed under
the home/away options.

I like Moyer. I don't enjoy listening to McCarthy talk over the action
and impart his wisdom on whatever subject. Play by play seems to be an
art only performed on radio these days. JJ tends to wander also, but I
love his voice on the radio. He sounds like character actor from a 40's
movie. I'm easily amused. :)

Oh yeah, duh. I don't know why I haven't tried that. Will try
tonight, if it's not a rain-out. Need a strong outing from Mr. Lee.

I agree that McCarthy isn't the greatest. But I find him
tolerable. JJ does have a great radio voice. That's a fun way
to describe it, "like a character actor from the 40's."
